Sighting of the Crescent of Dhu al-Hijjah and Eid Al-Adha Dates for 1447H – 2026G

Assalamu Alaikum Wa Rahmatullah Wa Barakatuh,

The Tri-State Imams Council extends its heartfelt congratulations to the Muslim communities in the United States and across the entire Islamic world on the confirmed sighting of the new crescent of the blessed month of Dhu al-Hijjah tonight.

Accordingly, the Council announces the key upcoming dates as follows:

🔹 1st of Dhu al-Hijjah: Tomorrow, Monday, May 18, 2026. 🔹 Yom Arafah (9th of Dhu al-Hijjah): Tuesday, May 26, 2026. 🔹 Eid Al-Adha (10th of Dhu al-Hijjah): Wednesday, May 27, 2026.

May Allah accept our good deeds and yours, and make these days full of obedience, worship, and blessings. We pray that Allah grants relief to all Muslims in distress everywhere and bestows His satisfaction and Paradise upon us.
