- لماذا لا تحج؟
أخي الحبيب…
إذا فتح الله لك باب الاستطاعة، وهيأ لك المال والصحة والأمن، فلماذا تؤخر الحج؟
ولماذا تحرم نفسك من هذه الرحلة المباركة التي تمحو الذنوب، وترفع الدرجات، وتعيد القلب إلى الله؟
الحج ليس مجرد انتقال من بلد إلى بلد، بل انتقال من الغفلة إلى الذكر، ومن الذنب إلى التوبة، ومن التعلق بالدنيا إلى التعلق بالله تعالى.
في الحج يخلع المسلم ثياب الزينة والتفاخر، ويلبس لباسًا يشبه الأكفان، وكأنه يتذكر رحلته الأخيرة إلى الله.
ويطوف مع الطائفين، ويسعى مع الساعين، ويقف بعرفة باكيًا راجيًا رحمة الله ومغفرته.
ألا تريد أن يغفر الله لك ذنوبك؟
ألا تريد أن تعود كيوم ولدتك أمك؟
ألا تريد أن يكون جزاؤك الجنة؟
كم من إنسان كان يؤمل الحج، ثم سبقه الموت!
وكم من قادر سوّف عامًا بعد عام حتى فاته الخير العظيم!
فبادر قبل أن تُحال بينك وبين بيت الله، واعلم أن من أعظم الخسارة أن يفتح الله لعبده باب الطاعة ثم يعرض عنها.
Why Don’t You Perform Hajj?
My dear brother…
If Allah has opened the door of ability for you, and granted you wealth, health, and safety—then why delay Hajj?
Why deprive yourself of this blessed journey that erases sins, elevates ranks, and brings the heart back to Allah?
Hajj is not merely a trip from one country to another; it is a journey from heedlessness to remembrance, from sin to repentance, and from attachment to the worldly life to attachment to Allah Almighty.
During Hajj, the Muslim removes the garments of adornment and pride, and wears simple clothing resembling a shroud—as if reminding himself of his final journey to Allah.
He circles the Kaaba with the pilgrims, walks between Safa and Marwa with those who walk, and stands on Arafah weeping and hoping for Allah’s mercy and forgiveness.
Don’t you wish for Allah to forgive your sins?
Don’t you want to return as pure as the day your mother gave birth to you?
Don’t you long for Paradise to be your reward?
How many people hoped to perform Hajj, yet death overtook them before they could?
And how many capable individuals postponed it year after year until they missed out on this great blessing!
So hasten—before you are prevented from reaching the House of Allah.
And know that one of the greatest losses is for Allah to open the door of obedience to His servant, only for the servant to turn away.
